IBS 2026: So Many Great Sessions… and Only One of Me
Every year I walk into the International Builders’ Show with the same challenge.
There is simply too much good content.
IBS is one of the few places where you can find yourself staring at your schedule thinking, “I want to be in three different rooms at the same time.” Between sales, marketing, technology, leadership, and customer experience sessions, there is always more to learn than any one person can realistically absorb in three days.
That’s honestly part of why I keep coming back.
This year is no exception. I’m especially excited because I’m not just attending, I’m also participating in three sessions across the week. And like everyone else, I’m also making some tough choices about which sessions I can realistically get to, and which ones I wish I could attend if cloning were an option.
When I’m not at some of these sessions you will definitely be able to find me in Sales Central. Where the coffee will be flowing, thanks to Outhouse and Blue Gypsy Inc.
The Sessions I’m Participating In
Staying Human in a Digital World
Tuesday | 7:45–8:15 AM | West 312A – Sales Central with Kevin Weitzel
Not only are we the Coffee sponsors all week at Sales Central, but we’re also kicking off the morning with a short “Rise & Shine” session focused on staying grounded and intentional in a week full of technology, tools, and noise. The goal is simple, help attendees set the right mindset for how digital experience and human connection work together throughout the show.
Control + Alt + Connect: How OSCs Use AI & Empathy to Reboot The Sales Journey
Tuesday | 12:15–12:45 PM | West 230 the AI and Tech Studio with Ryan Shultz and Felicia Berry
This session is centered around connection how we leverage technology and process without losing the relationship component that actually moves buyers forward.
Wind Down & Strategize: Practical Solutions for All the Stuff You Just Learned
Thursday | 9:30–10:00 AM, West 305 – PWB HQ with Carol Morgan and Kimberly Mackey
This quick session at PWB HQ is intentionally a wind-down and strategy session designed to help attendees take everything they’ve learned over the week and turn it into an actionable plan before heading home.

The Reality of IBS
The truth is, you will never get to everything.
IBS isn’t about perfect attendance. It’s about intentional learning, meaningful conversations, and leaving with ideas you can actually implement.
If you see me power walking between sessions with coffee in hand, I’m probably trying to squeeze in one more room before the next one starts. But don’t hesitate to stop me. Conversation and connection always will beat out attendance, as those are the more meaningful things I do at IBS. (Unless I’m trying to get to one of the sessions where I actually have to speak!)
