My List of “Not to Miss Educational Sessions” at International Builders Show in Las Vegas
It’s almost February and as I prepare for THREE speaking engagements at the International Builders Show (IBS) in Las Vegas from February 27th-29th – two in the learning labs, and one at Professional Women in Building Headquarters, (PWB HQ) – I’m also scouring the list of learning opportunities that I want to attend. So much to see, so little time.
My hack is when I’m not in a session or checking out tech on the floor (sorry for me flooring systems, counter tops, and cool building materials are awesome, but not in my wheelhouse) I’m usually hanging out in Sales Central or PWB HQ.
This year, the schedule is packed with insightful sessions, each offering unique opportunities to learn, network, and grow. And sadly, I wish I could clone myself so I could attend more than one at a time! There are so many that overlap as well.
Here are some of the not-to-miss events that I’m putting on my schedule to try to get to so I can learn from some incredible industry leaders. (And of course, I’ve highlighted the ones I’ll be speaking in as well!)

At this point in the day my brain will be fried after two presentations of my own! I will probably be easily found in Sales Central, PWB HQ, or I’ll be hightailing it back to my hotel to change for the Nationals Awards Gala where two of the OSC’s I’ve trained in the past are up for national gold awards! GOOOOOO TEAM!!!!!
If I head over to Sales Central I’ll be trying to catch Keith McKinny present “How to Appeal to the New Generation of First-time Homebuyer” at 3:00pm, followed by Tom Nelson talking about “Decoding Self-Guided Tour Demand: analysis & Best Practices.”
If I head over to PWB HQ my goal will be to catch the Shoptalk from 3:15-4:00pm “What Strategies are Women Using to Address the Imposter Syndrome.” With panelists Heather Laminack and Meg Thompson.
Wednesday Must-Sees – Day two at IBS will be like Day 5 for me with 2 presentations under my belt and one more to go. I likely will start my day at PWB HQ for a networking breakfast from there, it’s either hang out for some great presentations at PWB HQ or racing across to catch some more great presentations on the educational tracks.

Thursday Not-to-Be-Missed!
Thursdays are always a hard day for speakers. So many people book their tickets out of Vegas early, but some of the best sessions I’ve attended in the past have fallen on a Thursday. Here are some of the one’s I’ll be trying to get to since I don’t fly out until Friday morning.
